Conclusion

This paper introduced the design and implementation of Tingl, secure messaging and content distribuiton platform with minimal exposure of user metadata. We showed that by using well-know protocols and dedicated distributed transport network, Tingl is able to achieve higher security guarantees than current centralized messengers in the same time providing ability to build, grow and control own communities to anyone without leaking essential user metadata or relying on the third-party.

In addition our design of service nodes and transport protocol enables anyone to introduce one’s own applications to the network.

Tingl protocol is a backbone that will connect various disjoint social applications into a single ecosystem.
